The ALGER pH Observation and Feeding Syringe combines gastric aspiration, visual pH observation, and enteral feeding in a single device. Its integrated pH test strip system enables rapid gastric pH observation directly through the syringe, supporting convenient and efficient nasogastric tube management — usable by both clinical staff and family caregivers at home, with no special training, electricity, or language-dependent interpretation required
- Three-in-one design — Combines gastric aspiration, pH observation, and enteral feeding in a single syringe, eliminating the need to switch devices during routine tube feeding checks.
- Integrated, equipment-free pH testing — A built-in color-based pH strip enables direct gastric pH observation within the syringe. A reading above pH 5.5 may indicate the tube is no longer correctly positioned in the stomach — seek medical attention immediately if this occurs.
